Designer Spotlight: Ashley Rice

Today, Ashley Rice is in our Designer Spotlight talking with AFB and founder Jenny Morgan about designing through AFB and more.

Jenny: Ashley is one of those designers who can pull all the elements together. When she first joined AFB, we had a lot of holiday photo card and stationery work, work that looks deceptively easy. Ashley immediately understood that it was important to have a strong design or illustration on the card and great typography to convey the customer’s message, but all presented in a way that allowed the customer’s photos to shine. It’s harder than it looks! This makes Ashley a huge asset to the Bunch, because she can really do anything – illustrations, patterns, photo cards, greeting cards. She is a really versatile designer and a key member of AFB. Read on to learn more about Ashley!

AFB: What’s your Favorite Project you’ve worked on with AFB?

Ashley: I love designing greeting cards, so those are my favorite projects! I’ll be creating new cards soon to submit to some AFB Clients.

AFB: Design(s) You’re Most Proud of that you’ve done for AFB to-date?

Ashley: I’m proud of the holiday illustrations I created last year. Designing patterns and characters is outside of my comfort zone, so it was a fun challenge.
