Who are we?
Jenny Morgan – Founder & CEO
Real Life Job Title – Chief Organizer, Head Chef, Home Project Manager and Interior Designer for my busy family of 5.
Past Life – I was an exchange student in Japan and waitressed at a ramen restaurant. Then I was a commercial underwriter for a global insurance company and owned a small wholesale stationery company.
Favorite Project – I love collaborating with clients, our team and our artists on entire retail programs.
Superpower – Cooking – especially Asian food, but really any cuisine.
Secret Skill – Speaking, reading & writing Japanese and making Asian dumplings from scratch. My dumpling pleats are pro-level.
Best thing about AFB is…the women in our Bunch and how we help each other achieve creative and financial goals while “doing life”.
Cindy Elsman – Assistant Art Director/Project Manager
Real Life Job Title – Domestic engineer, dog wrangler, outdoor and fitness enthusiast, wife, and mom to three young adults.
Past Life – I was an art director and project manager for a large greeting card company for 10 years and a school volunteer.
Favorite Project – My favorite part of any project is reviewing artwork from our talented team of designers and working together to get a piece just right.
Superpower – Optimism.
Secret Skill – Tap dancing.
Best thing about AFB is… Working with an amazing group of talented women everyday.
Jill Krueger – Sales Director
Real Life Job Title – Momager for the 3 men in my life.
Past Life – I worked in the legal information and technology industry as a sales manager for 15 years.
Favorite Project – I love working with brand new clients to show them how easy and efficient we are at meeting their art needs.
Superpower – Stain removal. You spill. I fix.
Secret Skill – Wrapping presents. I am great at it and love picking out the perfect paper and ribbon combo, and one must make one’s own bows.
Best thing about AFB is…I love working with such smart, creative, hard-working women. It fills me up to be in this community
Suzanne Day
Real Life Job Title – Seventh Wonder to my six-pack of sisters and House Manager/Cruise Director to my trio of sons
Past Life – Marketing Communications/PR specialist in Silicon Valley for a number of Tech companies…working with small start-ups, mid-size & larger, more established businesses from initial product launches to IPOs and long term strategy.
Favorite Project – Seeing all the submissions for Christmas designs from our exceptional Artists throughout the year is an instant mood-booster
Superpower – Knack for recalling phone numbers and dates which is an obsolete skill these days with social media reminders and digital contact lists! Nonetheless, I’m especially good at remembering people’s birthdays…even for kids I knew back in elementary school who I lost contact with 20-30 years ago, I think of them every year on their birth dates.
Secret Skill – Folding fitted sheets
Best thing about AFB is – The wonderful virtual community we’ve built up over the past decade, way before it became a necessity during pandemic times.
